hey, every body,im in the process of making a few prop "bubbles".now before you say"why would any one make a bubble?",let me explain

this is a bubble,a very annoying and pretty common enemy in the Legend of Zelda universe.this style is from the game Twilight Princess.

So far ive started cover a skull of mine with a few layers of paper mache, and that will be the base. ime gonna enlarge the face to make it look more like the pic too.I'll also be using blue LED's in the eyes instead of the red eyes in the pic

I'm considering using the Giant Skull Prop (VA696) from Nightmare Factory as the starting basis for this prop, especially since the original Geiger Alien head started as a human skull.

Has anyone worked with skull before? I'm wondering if it's hollow on the inside. The jaw looks movable but it's gonna come completely off anyways since I'll be replacing all the teeth.

MC, the top lip cabling is pretty easy to figure out (it's the two loops at the top). The bottom I think is setup the same but out of site and I think is being manually controlled with his ring finger. It is possible that the top is connected with the bottom but at first glance they do appear to move independently.

I'm also considering pumping fog and water through but not sure how the two will interact together.

I've always liked that video....still haven't quite figured out how his cabling is set up.

Looking forward to the progress on your project!

May want to try methylcellulose if you can use a pump and container to recycle the liquid.

It's kinda funny really because my daughter has a small plush alien chest buster we bought her back before Suncoast shut down. It was her inspiration for the Roarast. Fitting that I'm now inspired by this alien teeth animatronic for building the Roarast this year.

I showed her the clip and the decision was unanimous with the exception of making the mouth a little wider. She requested green slime/drool but we settled on clear and maybe hitting it with a green light.

Although now that I'm thinking about it maybe I can mix up a batch of highlighter water and hit it with a black light instead.

Wish me luck.
